# How we measure what ChatGPT and Gemini recommend > What we asked ChatGPT and Gemini about new homes, how we collected the answers and how we count them. Page: https://redata.ro/en/ai-visibility/methodology Data updated on 7 October 2026 What we asked, how we collected the answers and how we count them. ## What we asked - 2,246 questions about new homes - 7 cities - 99 areas and towns In every city and every area we asked for new-project recommendations by price level (affordable, mid-range, premium and luxury) and by size (studio, 2, 3 or 4 rooms), and which developers build there. Separately, for every city and for the whole country, we asked a few general questions, for example about the best new developments or the developers people trust. For example (we asked in Romanian): > „Caut un apartament cu 2 camere la un preț accesibil în zona Berceni din București, într-un ansamblu rezidențial nou. Bugetul meu este de până la 105.000 de euro. Ce proiecte îmi recomanzi?” ## When and how - Updated on 7 October 2026 - From Romania, logged out - ChatGPT with web search forced on, Gemini with its default settings - ChatGPT (gpt-5-6): 5,326 answers. Each question asked 2 to 13 times. - Gemini (3.5 Flash-Lite): 4,722 answers. Each question asked 2 to 5 times. ## Areas, city by city The 99 areas and towns we asked about. ### Bucharest 35 areas: 13 Septembrie, Aviatorilor, Aviației, Băneasa, Berceni, Brâncuși, Chitila, Colentina, Cotroceni, Dămăroaia, Dorobanți, Drumul Taberei, Eminescu, Floreasca, Fundeni, Ghencea, Herăstrău, Lujerului, Militari, Obor, Pantelimon, Pipera, Politehnica, Primăverii, Rahova, Sisești, Străulești, Ștefan cel Mare, Tei, Theodor Pallady, Titan, Unirii, Vatra Nouă, Victoriei, Vitan Ilfov (7 towns): Bragadiru, Chiajna, Dobroești, Otopeni, Pantelimon, Popești-Leordeni, Voluntari ### Cluj-Napoca 17 areas: Andrei Mureșanu, Apahida, Baciu, Bulgaria, Bună Ziua, Centru, Dâmbul Rotund, Florești, Gheorgheni, Grigorescu, Iris, Între Lacuri, Mănăștur, Mărăști, Someșeni, Sopor, Zorilor ### Timișoara 6 areas: Calea Aradului, Calea Lipovei, Calea Torontalului, Cetate, Giroc, Moșnița Nouă ### Iași 16 areas: Aviației, Bârnova, Bucium, Centru, Ciurea, Copou, CUG, Dacia, Frumoasa, Miroslava, Nicolina, Păcurari, Podu Roș, Rediu, Tătărași, Valea Lupului ### Brașov 5 areas: Bartolomeu, Centru, Răcădău, Sânpetru, Tractorul ### Constanța 6 areas: Faleza Nord, Mamaia, Mamaia Nord, Năvodari, Tomis Nord, Tomis Plus ### Sibiu 7 areas: Cisnădie, Cristian, Hipodrom, Șelimbăr, Turnișor, Țiglari, Valea Aurie ## How we count - An answer counts for a developer when it names the developer or one of its projects. - A developer's share = answers that name it / all answers about the city - Under “Both”, the share is the average of the two assistants. - Figures for all cities together are the average of the 7 cities, each with the same weight. - When the link between a project and a developer is not verified yet, the developer is marked “Attribution under review”; its share can change after the check. - High frequency: level with the other developers marked the same way. The gaps between them are too small to matter. ## Limits - People who are logged in or pay for a plan can get different answers. - A single answer can change from one day to the next. That is why we repeat the measurement every month. Found a mistake? Write to contact@adacity.ro. ## How stable the results are A single answer says little, like a single person in a poll. That is why we ask every question at least twice and count thousands of answers. On 19 October we asked the same 2,246 questions again. In between, ChatGPT had moved from the gpt-5-6 model to gpt-6. In all 7 cities, on both assistants, at least one of the 7 October leaders was still at the top. ChatGPT kept its single leader in all 5 cities where it had one. On Gemini, the gaps between the top developers are smaller, so ties at the top are more common.
